Located in one of Barcelona´s garden suburbs, this house is sited at the end of a small plot, with the aim of taking advantage of a sunny garden to the front of the site. The garden adapts to the steep slope of the terrain by virtue of its situation, partially raised above the garage volume. Continuous with that of the house, whose facade looks on to the small square on which it stands, it is finished with the same materials and colours as the majority of the adjoining buildings.
The house is laid out over two floors covered by a pitched roof, at the same time as it features the inclusion of additional volumes –all employing different technologies- accommodating the entrance, the gallery and the bathroom-pool. These, whether covered by the overhang of the main roof or not, give the house an air of having been adapted over the course of time, as was in fact the case with this project.
